A nationally acclaimed museum which houses a unique collection of outstanding contributions made by African Americans towards the development of North Carolina and America. Tour exhibit house along a picturesque nature trail, which present every aspect of African American history, the “Hall of Fame,” and “Women of Note.” An outdoor drama, the “Amistad Saga: Reflections” is produced annually the last two weekends in July (admission is charged).
